A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Sam & Luke Garner in Hambleton. Bride preps started around 10am on a stunning, warm (hot!) March day! The weather was simply stunning from morning to night and we couldn’t have wished for a better day!
With the venues (church & reception) only a short walk from the house, I managed to nip off for half an hour to shoot the boys having a ‘swift half’ @ the Owl Hotel whilst my wife second shot the remaining preps & hair/make-up etc….
It was then just a very short ride in a brand new 17 plate Fendt tractor to Hambleton church across the road. A beautiful little church surrounded by lovely gardens & flowers. It was attended by around 60 or so guests who then made the tiny journey to the Owl Hotel, where we enjoyed the large private garden area to the rear of the hotel. In the gardens we took advantage of the spring backdrops to do the ‘formals’ and the group shot which involved me climbing on the roof of the extension to get an ariel view!
After shooting the speeches just before the wedding breakfast, we retired for an hour and the came back in the main function room to capture the night guests & party in full swing as well as capturing the fully choreographed dance routine! All in all, it was a very enjoyable (tiring!) day but the images (as usual! LOL!) came out stunning! LK
